Customs – VAT rate increases to 22%

We inform you that, pursuant to article 40, paragraph 1-ter of decree-law of July 6, 2011, converted with amendments by Law 98 of July 15, 2011, nr. 111, starting from October 1, 2013, the VAT rate of 21% is no longer in force and it is recalculated to 22%.

We invite you to check in advance the VAT correctness (22%) of documents necessary to custom formalities, in order to avoid problems during goods customs clearance or any additional costs.
